Contributor seat — €9/mo

Contributors write and edit demos; an editor publishes them. Add them to Pro or Team; Team includes 10. This is what makes the docs use case affordable — a support team with 12 occasional authors doesn't need 12 full editor licences.

SSO/SAML, a signed DPA, formal data residency, an SLA, and invoicing. Contact us — this tier only exists once a customer asks for it.

A published demo never goes dark.

Downgrading a plan, missing a payment, or hitting a demo limit stops you from publishing a new version. It never takes an existing embed offline.

Questions

Do you charge for views?
No. Every plan has unlimited views, and nothing in the product counts down. There are no credits and no usage meters.
What happens to my demos if I downgrade or a payment fails?
They stay live. Downgrading stops you publishing new versions past the new plan’s limits; it never takes an existing embed offline. We do not build the capability to do that.
Do I need a card to start?
No. Every workspace starts on Free, and you can publish your first demos without entering payment details.
Is VAT included?
No. Prices are in euros and exclude tax. mado is sold through Link, Stripe’s reseller, which works out tax at checkout from your billing address: a consumer in the EU pays their country’s VAT rate, an EU business that enters a valid VAT number is reverse-charged and pays none, and elsewhere sales tax is added where it applies. The receipt and invoice come from Link. You can manage the subscription in Studio or at link.com.
Does the embed need a cookie banner?
No. The embed sets no cookies and stores nothing on a visitor’s device. Session identity is a per-page-load random id plus a server-side, daily-rotating hash that is never stored raw.
Where is my data?
In the EU. mado is an EU company, EU-hosted and GDPR-native. The exceptions are both optional: AI assist sends screenshots to Anthropic in the US, and Voice & music sends narration/music text to ElevenLabs in the US — both off until you turn them on. Formal data residency commitments come with Enterprise.
