Terms of Service

These terms govern use of mado ("the Service"), operated by an EU-registered company ("we", "us"). By creating a workspace or using a published demo, you agree to these terms.

1. Your content

You retain all rights to the recordings, screenshots, and demos you upload ("Content"). You grant us a limited licence to store, process, and serve Content back to you and to viewers you choose to share it with, solely to operate the Service. We do not use your Content to train models, and we do not sell it.

2. Prohibited content

You may not upload Content that:

• Infringes someone else's intellectual property or contractual rights;
• Contains malware or is designed to deceive viewers;
• Captures another person's private data without a lawful basis to process it;
• Violates applicable law in the EU or US.

3. Takedown

If you believe Content on the Service infringes your rights, contact us at our contact page. We review and act on credible takedown requests, including gallery-listed demos reported through the in-product report flow.

4. Published demos stay live

A demo you publish keeps serving at its share link and any embed for as long as you keep the workspace, regardless of plan changes, payment issues, or usage limits reached on new publishes. We do not build the capability to take a published demo offline except at your request or for a confirmed terms violation.

5. Paid plans

Paid plans are sold through Link, Stripe's reseller, which is the merchant of record for the purchase. Link's terms apply to the payment itself: it works out and collects any sales tax or VAT at checkout, issues receipts and invoices, and handles payment and refund requests. You can change or cancel a subscription in Studio or at link.com. Cancelling, downgrading or a failed payment never takes a published demo offline (section 4).

6. Data export

You can export your demo's document and assets at any time, on any plan, in one action.

7. Termination

You may close your workspace at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for a confirmed violation of section 2, with notice where practicable.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the jurisdiction our operating entity is registered in.
